1) Stereotyping. I'd say that's judging someone of one quality they have before you really get to know them. i.e. people say everyone who lives in my neighborhood is rich. That's a big stereotype considering there's only a few families in this neighborhood who are rich. Also saying someone if werid before you really know them is a stereotype.

2) I guess it's bull****, though I never really had much of an opinion on it.

3) Stuff like saying all Muslims are suicide bombers, saying people who live in my neighborhood are rich. Judging someone too quickly based on their looks, clothing, etc., and more than I can think of or feel like listing

4) Paranoia maybe? Or we're too full of ourselves to try and see that maybe for once we're wrong about something or someone.

5) I'd have to say stereotyping is popular in all ages. Before, during, and after highschool.

1) Stereotyping is judging someone based on how they look rather than getting to know someone.
2) Stereotyping is complete garbage.
3) Society uses stereotyping as a way to group people together.
4) We use stereotyping because it makes it easier to judge people on whether or not you want to know them, without bothering to actually get to know that person. We also use stereotyping as a way to feel better about ourselves by saying things putting down groups that you aren't a part of.
5) Every age group stereotypes. People don't like to admit that it happens after high school, but it is jsut as common out of school as it is in school.

Mkay, I don't think it's that everyone who lives in Renaissance is rich. Maybe it's just that everyone else is poor.

The stereotype probably started with Gordon Vanscoy being the biggest prick in Renaissance.

The effects are that we'll probably grow up with our stereotypical thoughts and we'll always think that way.

It affects who you hang out with and how you treat other people. If a certain group has a bad stereotype, you wont hang out with them, and might treat them like crap.

1) What do you think is stereotyping? Stereotyping is a way of judging someone without getting to know them first.

2)What is your opinion of it? I think stereotyping is utter bull****.

3)How do you think that we as a society use stereotyping? As said above, we use it to judge people. I think we use to to make things easier -- saying all Muslims are Shiite extremists who want to kill all Americans is easier than actually taking the time to research or something and find out that most Muslims aren't blood-thirsty lunatics.

4)Why do you think that we do that? I think it's just an ingrained prejudice. Our parents have it, and they teach us to have it. It's just part of human nature that is hard to overcome, but not impossible.

5)Do you think that Stereotyping is more popular in highschool, after/ before high school, or the same? same

As to how it will affect us... in a very negative way?
